Will This psu be able to support a ati radeon 5850?

i want to buy an apevia ice berg 680watt psu it has 2 12 v rails one is 22 amps and the other is 24 amps. the recommended amount of amps for the 5850 is 40 amps. would the psu be able to handle my gpu, my cpu which is an intel quad core i5 at 3.2 ghz and everything else?
