JEWS - Doesn't sefer ha-yasher (the book of jasher) simply refer to the torah of Moses?

I run into alot of people who think The Book of Jasher mentioned in the Bible is a Bible book conspirators have been hiding from the rest of us. I think they are very naive. Anything you can contribute would be appreciated.
