Your on the right path but for one thing...starch. Having a salad with your dinner is great. But you also need your fruit and other darker veggies, and nuts. Having starch and every mean....bread, pasta, rice...it's actually stammering your chances. I would suggest not so much starchy foods and when you do make it whole grain. In between your meals try a yogurt or a handful of nuts. Also when you think you might be hungry drink a huge glass a water. It makes your body think you are full. Eat slow as well. It takes 20 min for the mind to register you have eaten and are full. Never go back for seconds until you have waited that long. Your stomach is as big as your two fists put together, rule of thumb for the amount.

I have a physics homework problem that has 2 blocks on an inclined surface, thats frictionless. Block 1 is attached to Block 2 which is attached to a mass thats hanging from a pulley. The whole system is frictionless, ignore mass of ropes, and its all at rest. I understand that for Block 1, I have MgSin(theta) countering the Tenstion (T1) But for the 2nd block it has a rope on each side (one to hanging mass, and one holding block 1) So there is a T (tension) on both sides. These counter each other but because the block is on an incline do I still add MgSin(theta)? Mass would be for 2nd block in that one. I would get something like Tension 2 - Tension 1 - MgSin(theta) = 0

Why dont western christians make their kids memorize the bible?

Second something has been bugging me, when i was young in my local mosque (yes i AM muslim) we were taught how to memorize and translate the quran and i am just wondering why didnt christian children also go through that? I have alot of orthodox jewish friends and they tell me how they were also taught to memorize sections of the torah, to be honest they say they dont "memorize" they "learn" but when u boil it down its the same thing. At your age your body is capable of producing massive amounts of testosterone that will help make you lean and muscular. Your lucky for that and you can instigate this through strength training and proper diet. You should alternate between cardio workouts and weight training. I mean if you starve yourself and burn massive calories like you are doing you will end up a skinny, 90 LB weakling and I know that is not what you are going for. You should be eating lots of lean skinless chicken breasts. stay away from bread. Eat lots of low fat cottage cheese. Drink 1% milk. Eat fruits and veggies, too. Eat 5 times a day, at the same times every day (this means eat healthy snacks so you can build muscles while speeding up your metabolism so you have lots of energy and can lift more. You should make the world your gym. Drop and to pushups several times during the day. At a minimum you should be doing at least 100 pushups per day, 200 crunches. Try benching as much weight as you can at 4 reps of ten. IMPORTANT: All of this should only be done if you are medically cleared for this type of exersize. Meaning it is a good idea to get a sports physical from a doctor and talk to him or her about your goals. Get strong, Be strong. You are not overweight, you are under-strong. You should find a workout partner so you have someone to spot you and you can push eachother. "One more man- - You got it". Don't be a puss. Feel free to grunt on that last rep, lol. Just DO IT!

get out there and run anyway. ha ha when i was reading this i felt like i was kind of reading over what i had already written if you know what im trying to say. running and exercise helps build selfasteme and helps with toning your body. i knoe how it feels to pul yourself up out of bed early in the morning DURING SUMMER VACATION just to go running and start my day. beleive me it gets easyier and easier. be that athlete you truly are you know you can do it. the funny thing is im supposed to be running right now and im on the computer haha. but im gonna start going in the morning again first thing tomorrow morning :) you just have to believe that your worth it!!! good luck and dont worry theres a lot of us out there you've just got to make it happen for yourself :)

Dear parody pears, please do not take this in the wrong way what so ever, but you should try going to a baptist church. I do and I love it! I'm actually still in the youth so u may not find it as fun as us teens but trust me. Some baptist churches may be lookd upon as being hypocrites but I don't want to scare you away by saying that. If you go to a baptist church and they aren't very nice people go to a different one. take my advice, try to find one with alot of younger adults and middle aged people. Not one with to many old people cuz those old people can be rude some of them are very sweet and kind though. You also want there to be little kids and teens. Us baptists believe in the ten comandments too so u don't have to worry. And trust me not all baptists are strict and proper. We all like to have fun and do stupid things. Can a shotgun barrel be cut then threaded?

Dark red marks on foot arch, is it okay?

Well I've been working out alot, on my feet alot, and today I did a little over 3 hours of rebounding (mini trampoline) and when I stopped to take a break after the 3 hours I noticed there were long red marks all along the arch of my foot. I'm wondering if that's bad or if it just means it's irritated. If it's just irritated that's okay I just want to make sure I'm not really damaging my feet or anything. Because I need to do 2 more hours and I usually do 1 hour of jump rope as well and 2 workout DVD routines and some dancing so I just want to make sure my feet are okay and it's not a sign of an injury to come or anything. Also all the workouts I do are with bare feet, I refuse to workout with shoes on unless I'm dancing because they completely throw me off. Help please i am soo depressed?

I am really self concious. I am always looking in the mirror looking at my imperfection but especially my weight. I just cant stand how fat i am. i am 181 lbs and my height is 5'6. So, i feel depressed, and i feel ugly and jealous at people who are thin. I have almost 3 weeks that i have been eating healthier and almost 1 week of doing 1 hour of exercise(jump rope) everyday and walking another 40 min but walking is only sometimes. so i am doing something, but i feel like i am not going to lose any weight and i am going to stay fat. I noticed though that i feel better and a little slimmer and my mom also says that. I sweat a ton when i do exercise by the way. But, I feel depressed, and almost like living isnt worth it. I guess the government officials themselves are the crooks behind this scheme as well. But crooks who already have lots of money from swindling get it back with bonuses from U.S. tax dollars. Isn't our government run by ZOG's that controls pretty much the world's finanicial markets? My average day of exercising includes running a minimum of 3 miles, jump rope for 10 minutes, swimming the freestyle for 30 minutes and then 10 minutes of breaststroke and backstroke, Sometimes I even run an extra mile of 1/5 mile sprints. I then workout which goes on average punching the heavy bag for 5 rounds (15 min) with 1 min breaks, then preacher curls, pull ups, chin ups, push ups, bench press, butterfly press, shoulder press, butterflys, dips, barbell curls, hammer curls, sitting rows, shoulder shrugs, lat pull downs, dumbell rows, and dumbell raises- all of this is 3 sets of 12 and this is done every alternating day , on the days i am not doing this workout i do legs and stomach, I am not going to explain it all but it includes the 3 mile run, swim, and jump rope, leg extension, leg press, leg curls, sumo squats, captains chair, stationary bike, stair master, decline crunches leg raises, planks, ---- I do the first workout on monday, wednesday, and friday, and I do the second (legs and stomach) on tuesday, thursday, and saturday. Sunday is my only off day, so tell me if you think this is way too much or just okay?!?!?!?!

The "prophecies" are either very general, famines for example - which ones, there have been many at different times and different places. If you say that are all predicted by the vague reference, then it isn't a foretelling, it's just a reference you can apply to any famine. If on the other hand, you have dates and place where these events will cocur, that is a prediction. Then there is the question of when these "prohecies" were written. Most religious books have been edited over the ages - stuff taken out and stuff introduced - so the time flow of events is questionable. But regardless, the "predictions" are not specific as to either time or place. Israel being a nation again is akin to me saying we will return to the moon and man will once again walk its surface. Im sure that will happen, I cant say when or even which nation will do it. Does this count as a prophecy?

My entire back, abdomen and even ribs gave me horrible pain last night and?

I went to the ER. It came on suddenly. Like it started down by my back and worked its way up into my shoulders and ribs. Then radiated to the front upper abdomen and in my chest. It hurt so bad no matter what position i put myself in I was in HORRIBLE PAIN. It came and went....It hurt to breath because it felt like someone had tied a rope around me and squeezed kind of. When the pain started, I got weak, got cold chills and started shaking. The ER told me I had the stomach flu! No way,. they didn't do xrays or anything. They also said my white blood cell count was very high and they weren't sure where the infection was. Today I'm not in as much pain but i am VERY SORE. My back and everything still aches and at times it feels like the attack is going to come again but it don't. Any ideas what this could be, because I have a feeling its not just the stomach flu. By the way its not my gall bladder , I had that removed 5 months ago.

That doesn't sound right? I'm an ex-mormon but i know what a presiding bishop is and it is pretty cool. You would be the head of the entire ward (congregation) for a certain time that's why it is called "Presiding" because it is usually temporary. Any way I am not sure if you would become that. Personally I've never heard of this being done. I'd also like to express that you seriously drop the notion of joining. hello everyone, so my first year of high school is raping up. I am currently going to a jewish private school. which I do not like because well a I got no friends there but what the hell. and b because I am an atheist I am all ways being told that I will "burn in hell" (not sure how that works because jews don't have a hell described in the torah do they?) and c, I have to take four extra classes, hebrew, Bible (or torah or Thanh or whatever it called) rabbinices (jewish tradition ) and jewish history it is lowerING MY mark by 15 PERCENT. so after a year of convincing my dad he is okay with me switching to another school. however, hey would still like me to go to a private school. I also agree that most private schools have better education then public schools, even the one I go to know (it gives me Better education but at the price of lower my marks form the 70s which is almost okay in my dads eye and is okay for now in mine, to an 58! which is a failure in my eyes, also I got no friends there so not attached to my current school, also people tell me everything I am and I stand for is wrong and unholy, so if I could go to a school were I would not be told "you'll burn in hell because you parents are intermarried" I would be happy) anyways I cant get accepted to the public high school I might want to go to where my friends are, so I started looking online and there are some that are affordable in my dads budget (boarding schools because there like 100km-500km away form my home) so what do you guys think? should I go to boarding school? or is it just for people whose family is messed (just my mom is messed as in she threatens to leave the country and go to israel if I switch schools... So there's three main events for girls in rodeo. Barrel racing, goat tying, and breakaway roping. When trying out for the college rodeo team, do I HAVE/NEED to be great at all three? How do you get physically fit within one month?

I am moving to a new place, and since I didn't do too well here in the friend department, I've decided to become a much more likable person. I have already decided that I should be much nicer to other people than I was here, be more socially interactive, and to have friendlier attitudes around people. But that leaves one thing-- physical appearance. I am not too concerned with this one and won't completely change myself for other people because I know as long as I am a nice person, others will like me (save a few exceptions, no one can be friends with all the world). However, I do want to slim down a bit, as of the moment I'm a bit chubby. I have one month until school starts. I have already decided to either run for twenty minutes, or swim for an hour or so every day. I will also try to get off the computer for a while and skip rope or do some jumping jacks and do crunches. And of course I will eat healthy (but I can't go on a complete diet because I am a little short for my age, and I'm trying to eat protein to get taller) But is there anything else I can do? I am seriously determined to get "skinny." Is there any way I can do so by adding or altering what I already have planned?

Pain so bad can someone help?

You should do a lot of cardio first to lose the fat. Then start to add in weight lifting, etc and eat more protein. Increase the amount and intensity of the chest exercises as you get better. Then, when you have your ideal body, keep the level of difficulty constant, unless your chest starts to get too big. Then you can decrease the amount and intensity a little bit, and it should get smaller pretty quickly. Good luck!

Me and middle aged old man? (idk who it was) but we went into this forest and I was skeptical to go because I didn't feel right. We were walking and we saw 2 sets of tracks on the right were tire tracks and he said that's were people went in. And I saw on the left foot prints leading out. But we went in and I wAs scared. I think we were looking for house ( there were beautiful houses in the back ground) and some how we were in a trap. I was at the bottom on this hold but I was hanging by rope.
